Health and safety is at the very heart of everything we do at The Clean Group. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety for our staff, our clients and the public.

Our Health and Safety management system is built on a culture of continuous improvement. Every member of our team – from site operatives to senior management – has a role to play in ensuring our workplaces are safe, compliant and well-managed.

Our H&S Commitments:
Risk Assessment

Every site and task is subject to a thorough risk assessment before work begins. We identify hazards, evaluate risks and implement appropriate controls to protect everyone involved.

All staff receive a comprehensive induction covering site-specific risks, emergency procedures and safe working practices. Ongoing training is provided regularly.

Appropriate PPE is provided and its use is mandatory where required. We ensure all PPE is fit-tested, maintained and readily available at all times.

We operate a no-blame reporting culture. All incidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions are reported, investigated and acted upon to prevent recurrence.

All specialist and high-risk work is carried out in accordance with a written method statement – reviewed and approved before work commences.

Our teams hold PASMA and IPAF certifications. All work at height is planned, supervised and executed using appropriate equipment and procedures.

All cleaning chemicals are COSHH assessed. We provide full safety data sheets and ensure safe storage, handling and disposal of all substances.

Regular internal and external health and safety audits are carried out to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement across all operations.
